Media Release

Owensboro, Kentucky – MidAmerica Jet, an Owensboro, Kentucky based aircraft charter
service, is proud to announce it has finalized partnerships with PGA Tour stars Shaun Micheel and
Blake Adams. Micheel, who won the 2003 PGA Championship and recorded 3 Top-10 finishes this
year, and Adams, who is finishing up his rookie year on the PGA Tour and is currently 85th on the
money list, have chosen MidAmerica to be their exclusive provider of private aviation services.
“As a licensed pilot and aviation enthusiast, I probably pay closer attention to technical details
than the average passenger,” said Micheel. “I would never put my family on a plane without doing my
homework first, and after several test flights with MidAmerica, I have absolute confidence in their
pilots and their avionics technicians on the ground.”
Family service was also a primary factor in Adams’s decision.
“I just completed my rookie year on the PGA Tour, and I realized very quickly how important
private travel was going to be for my young family,” said Adams. “I love my job, but the constant
travel is grueling, and I will never accept being away from my family for 4 to 6 weeks at a time.
MidAmerica allows me to maximize my time with my family and keeps my wife from having to fight
her way through crowded commercial airports with two small children. It’s hard to put a price on that
peace of mind.”
MidAmerica has been fulfilling the needs of corporate and individual clients since 1980 and
has an impeccable record of safety and unsurpassed service. “Mid America Jet is very excited about
this opportunity to take care of the travel needs of PGA Tour Players,” said Drew Augenstein Chief
Operating Officer of Mid America Jet. Augenstein added, “This is our first of many announcements
with PGA Tour Players.”
Mid America Jet has added two new jets to its fleet since April of this year, with plans to grow
the fleet with five additional jets by the end of 2011.
